Identifying your vision and living your values creates a strong identity and purpose. On this path of finding and living in alignment with your values, it is necessary to embrace change and understand that making behavioral change is not without difficulty. In my work with individuals, families, and organizations, I have witnessed immense growth when there is an openness to change and the flexibility to work through the “unknown.” Possessing the clarity and intention behind your “why” and how you will accomplish it is a significant predictor of engagement, efficacy, contentment, and success.
With my clinical training in social work, I deeply value the concept of self-determination. Honoring self-determination means empowering my clients by helping them set goals and objectives they want to pursue. I assist people, leaders, and organizations in accomplishing their goals by offering an array of interventions and strategies that best fit their needs and concerns. I also sincerely believe that co-creation in developing plans and strategies helps change become more sustainable and lasting.
My interpersonal style of relating and communicating is supportive, encouraging, and directive. Clients routinely tell me they experience me as accepting, personable and effective in helping them identify and change patterns or systems that no longer serve them or align with their values. You will find my genuine interest and ability to quickly understand you refreshing, particularly if you have had negative experiences with therapists, coaches, or consultants or have felt uncertain about eliciting outside assistance.
